| Jan Keane joined Mitchell/Giurgola Architects in 1971 after earning her Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University under Aldo Giurgola and a Bachelor of Arts degree at Vassar College. She was named an Associate in 1978 and Partner in 1980. Ms. Keane has been a visiting juror and lecturer at Columbia University, Ball State University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has served as juror for design award programs of AIA chapters across the country. Ms. Keane was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 1995, having served as Treasurer of the New York City Chapter from 1992 to 1994 and as a member of the Committee on the Environment and the Finance Committee. |
