| John Kurtz joined Mitchell/Giurgola Architects in 1968, after earning his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He was named an Associate in 1976 and Partner in 1987. For more than five years, Mr. Kurtz lived in Australia, managing the design and construction of the new capitol in Canberra. Mr. Kurtz is active in the New York City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and has also been a visiting critic and juror at Columbia University. His drawings are held in the permanent collection of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. |
