To expand its research program to include interdepartmental research in genetic medicine, structural biology, and neuroscience, Weill Medical College of Cornell University renovated eight floors of New York Hospital’s Whitney Pavilion. The Whitney Pavilion, one of the original hospital buildings, had previously been used for patient care. The 50,000 SF renovation provides space for over twenty principal investigators and serves as an important recruitment tool for the school.
