On June 11, Gov. Dannel Malloy, UConn President Susan Herbst, students, faculty, and industry partners are gathering at the University of Connecticut’s Storrs campus to celebrate the opening of the new, five-story Engineering & Science Building. The state-of-the-art facility designed by Mitchell Giurgola provides a home for some of the University’s most rapidly growing research fields, accommodating a wide range of wet and dry engineering and science research.
