To celebrate Archtober this year, MG Partner Carol Loewenson and Project Architect Mabel Jiang led a tour of the New York Public Library’s Melrose Branch last Friday. Located at a prominent corner site in the South Bronx, the transformed library restores and expands the historic 1914 Carnegie branch with a new light-filled third floor and welcoming spaces for children, teens, and adults.
